VULCAN SOFTWARE REQUEST

Hypersonic Airbreathing Propulsion Branch
Please follow the steps below to obtain permission to acquire and
use VULCAN :
NOTE : VULCAN distribution is restricted to the United States and its use by non-citizens is dependent on I.N.S. status.
Prepare a cover letter on your official letterhead stating the following:

How you plan to use VULCAN.

The number of users you expect.
-
That you will not distribute VULCAN
without permission from NASA.

That you will notify NASA of any patents, awards, innovations, or
new products that result from your use of
VULCAN.

That you will notify NASA of any problems or errors that you encounter.

That you will notify NASA of any modifications that you make to
VULCAN.
Transmit the cover letter via US mail to:

EMail an electronic copy of the request to:

You will be contacted by the NASA LaRC AAAC Software release authority and
provided with a software usage agreement that must be completed and processed
before VULCAN is released.
After the NASA LaRC software release officer has notified you that you are
approved to recieve VULCAN, you will be provided a userid and password which
will give you permission to
ftp the gzipped
vulcan.tar file.
