VULCAN GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

The VULCAN Graphical User Interface (GUI)
is written in Tcl/Tk. This graphics scripting language is free and available
for a wide variety of platforms. The VULCAN GUI
requires that version 8.2 or higher of Tcl/Tk from
Tcl Developer Exchange, Inc.
be installed on your machine.
The VULCAN-CFD desktop allows you to launch the following components
of the CFD analysis processes:
Your grid generation software (e.g.
The vulcan input file creation gui.
The VULCAN CFD pre-processor, flow solver, and
Tecplot to plot the integrated loads and/or residual history.
Your flow solution display software (e.g.
The VULCAN input file GUI allows
you to create a VULCAN input file using
a step by step process. Some of the input windows can be viewed by
selecting from the following list:
